B85 + B90 / Building Bloc design

http://ift.tt/nNxAFF

B85 + B90 are located in Altadore, one of Calgary’s older established inner-city neighborhoods. This community is unique and transitional due to the flux of people moving there and revitalizing the area with new developments. The Dwellings were completed in 2015 with the concept of creating two stylistically harmonious but different speculative homes with rustic and modern elements in a way that represents Calgary as a contemporary and evolving city. The homes have complementary exteriors and similar interior layouts with contrasting interior palates. They are organized from an open concept with the main living spaces at grade, a recreation and guest suite below, and 3 bedrooms, laundry and 2 full bathrooms above.
