Imperius, the Archangel of Valor, appears in the game Diablo III. He’s a powerful character and has a formidable set of armor. Imperius’ ensemble looks functional but also has an elegance about it that Fabricator Djinn captured in his cosplay. He’s been pouring effort into the project for years, and the time he took was definitely worth it. His build log goes all the way back to January 2016 when he started shaping the armor. He used Sintra to shape some of the armor. He said:
[Sintra] is technically a foam but it has the look/feel/workability of plastic, is softer, sands easier (and perfectly smooth) and has a much lower melting point (can be heat formed for compound curves and complex shapes). Its pretty cool stuff – but its essentially just plastic.
