Mass Effect Tali’Zorah Costume
Bioware’s N7 Day, a day to celebrate all things Mass Effect, was on November 7, but we’re extending the special occasion by a day to look at Jenna Lynn Meowri’s Tali’Zorah costume. The quarian is a member of Commander Shepard’s squad in the game, and she has quite the memorable look. Jenna made the costume using a suit designed by Frontier Costuming. Tali’s helmet looks like the most difficult part of the costume. Jenna explained the basics of crafting it:
Made a base visor sculpt from Monster Clay using the helmets inner measurements as a general guideline. Vacuum formed the visor sculpt with 1/32″ PETG plastic and trimmed down the excess. I then dyed it with a plastic friendly purple dye until it reached the shade I wanted.
