Sant'Agata de’ Goti is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 km northeast of Naples and about 25 km west of Benevento near the Monte Taburno. The name does not derive from the Gothic domination of Italy (5th-6th centuries), but from the Gascony family De Goth who held it in the 14th century. Sant'Agata is not far from the ancient Samnite town of Saticula. Sant'Agata de’ Goti è un comune italiano di 11.473 abitanti ubicato in Campania, nella provincia di Benevento. Sorge nella Valle Caudina, alle falde del Monte Taburno, ed al confine con la provincia di Caserta. Sant'Agata de’ Goti è bandiera arancione del Touring Club Italiano. Dal novembre del 2012 è inoltre entrata a far parte de I borghi più belli d'Italia.
