Biohacker Summit 2017 – Better Living through Science, Technology and Nature

VIDEO

The next Biohacker Summit will be taking place at a Power Plant in Helsinki next month. The two day event occurs on October 13 – 14th and is packed with sessions explaining how to upgrade your performance through augmentation, supplements, sleep, nutrition and exercise. This years theme is “Microcosm & Macrocosm of Health”.

Via BiohackerSummit:

The distinction between microcosm and macrocosm has intrigued the imagination of humans since Plato. This year the theme is microcosm & macrocosm of health: Understanding health down from the microscopic level of nutrients, genes, cells, micro-organisms and neurotransmitters up to the macroscopic view of human nutrition, ecosystems, technologies and the future of humanity. Health is about striving for an equilibrium: finding the balance between the tiniest details and the connected whole. Whether you prefer reductionism or holism, calculate micronutrients or macronutrients, use technological or natural approaches, microdose or macrodose, value microbiomes or complex systems, whatever view you cherish, we would love to welcome you to aim your microscope and telescope to the collective wonders of the microcosm and the macrocosm of health.
